    £2 coins: 253 coins, 1986–2026

    Commemorative £2 coins were struck in nickel-brass from 1986, and the bimetallic £2 that circulates today was introduced in 1998, dated 1997. Florin House flags every £2 for counterfeit risk as a rule of thumb, so each coin here carries that note beside its edge inscription.
