This is the 2020 BU issue with a mintage of 97,863. The first in a series celebrating British music legends, this coin was the first time a British band has been showcased on a UK coin. The Brilliant Uncirculated coin was issued in 4 different sleeves 3 of which exclusive to the mint with an issue limit of 25,000 each.The coin was also struck in a variety of denominations and metals including copper-nickel, silver proof, colourised silver proof and gold proof. The total Brilliant Uncirculated mintage was 97,863 which consisted of ‘The Band’ (28,887 sales), ‘Hot Space’ (14,426 sales), ‘A Kind Of Magic’ (15,562 sales), ‘On Stage’ (16,582 sales), as well as Trade Packaging of (20,999 sales), and a Coin and Stamp set of (1,407 sales).©The Royal Mint, 2020
