The first in a four-coin 2020 Tower of London series which explores William the Conqueror’s White Tower – a symbol of power designed to impress and intimidate. The building still stands housing the Royal Armouries collection, including the Line of Kings showcasing the armour of some of Britain’s monarchs.©The Royal Mint, 2020Produced in association with Historic Royal Palaces, the design features the Tower of London mint mark on the reverse and was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof. The BU mintage comprised Royal Mint packs (9,690 sales) and third party trade packaging (4,999 sales).
