1992 Canada Elizabeth II Confederation 5 Cents BU

Über 1992 Canada Elizabeth II Confederation 5 Cents BU (Text auf Englisch)

Rather than replacing the familiar reverse, the Royal Canadian Mint retained G.E. The obverse features the crowned effigy of Elizabeth II by Canadian sculptor Dora de Pédery-Hunt, notable as the first portrait of the monarch on Canadian coinage created by a Canadian artist. Struck in cupronickel, the type serves as a modest yet meaningful tribute to national unity, carrying the spirit of the anniversary into everyday commerce across the country. For collectors, it holds particular appeal as part of the complete anniversary year set, which unites the commemorative double date across the denominations. It also offers an accessible entry point into commemorative Canadian numismatics and a tangible link to one of the defining milestones in the nation's history.
