This is the 2002 BU issue with a mintage of 60,770. Released to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II as individual pieces, in a Brilliant Uncirculated presentation folder, as part of the Annual Proof set for 2002 and in a Philatelic Numismatic Cover. The design was also struck in silver proof and gold proof. Eimer# 2204.Despite being produced in their millions and being available at face value from most post offices and banks, the ordinary business strike was a Royal Mint commemorative issue and not intended for general circulation.
