This is the 2006 Circulation issue with a mintage of 52,267. Despite being produced in their thousands and being available at face value from most post offices and banks, the ordinary business strike was a Royal Mint commemorative issue and not intended for general circulation.This design was also issued in the 2006 annual proof set as well as in Brilliant Uncirculated individual packs and in silver proof, gold proof, platinum piedfort proof and silver piedfort with gold highlights.
