This is the 1769 Circulation issue (Mo mint) with a mintage of unknown. NOTE: 1/2 Grano equals 1/32 Real because an 8 Reales coin is equal to 128 granos, so divide it in 8 to get 1 real 16 Granos and then divide it in 32 to get 1/32 = Half grano. This means, this coin is the smallest ever of all the Real set. NOTE: Extremely rare and considered a circulation type by some. Most impressive feature is the presence of the Mexican Eagle and the Spanish coat of arms in such period. Eagle existed as a depiction of the Native Mexico, so it is interesting to see it in the opposite side of the Spanish colonial emblem as no recognition of Mexico as a State existed then.
