This is the 2009 BU issue with a mintage of 11,492. The featured Great Pagoda at Kew was built in 1762 as a gift for Princess Augusta. Issued as part of the Annual Silver Proof sets for 2009 (2,749 sales) as well as individually on 18/12/2008 (7,575 sales). It was also issued in October 2009 as part of the 16-coin set (1,168 sales) to celebrate 40 years of the 50 pence denomination. This design was also struck in copper-nickel, silver piedfort, gold proof and gold piedfort.
