This is the 1992 BU issue with a mintage of 62,326. These coins can only be found in the Royal Mint annual Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof sets. No 10p coins were issued for circulation from 1982 until 1992 when the 10p coin was reduced in size, this was due to the fact that pre-decimal florins were still circulating as part of the decimalisation process having a value of 10p. Florins were finally demonetised in 1993 alongside this larger 10p issue type. 1992 dated 10 pence issues KM# 938, Sp# F3 Copper-nickel • 11.3 g • ⌀ 28.5 mm - issued in RM sets only (BU and Proof); KM# 938b, Sp# F4 Copper-nickel • 6.5 g • ⌀ 24.5 mm - issued in RM sets and over 1.4bn struck for circulation.
